Oli has been a professional musician throughout his working life, with wide-ranging experience in performance, teaching, and coaching across many different disciplines and styles.

His career has taken him all over the world, spanning Broadway, the West End and regional theatre, as well as television and film. Fond highlights include performing for an audience of 20000, composing music for a Tate Modern exhibition, recording a CD of an original west end musical and arranging music for a pop star and an orchestra made up entirely of vegetables.

He now specialises in Suzuki teaching — a method with benefits for musicians of any age. It builds an easy, flowing technique alongside its inherently musical approach produces well-rounded beautiful humans as much as accomplished musicians.

He holds an enhanced DBS certificate.

Erin has been teaching piano for almost ten years, and in that time has come to believe wholeheartedly in the Suzuki Method as the most effective way to inspire and nurture young pianists.

Erin trained in classical piano performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, before completing a Master's in Musicology at the University of Oxford.

Her performing career has taken her to some of London's most celebrated stages, including the Southbank Centre and the Barbican.

Erin is delighted to be joining Oli's studio in Herne Hill, bringing her warmth, expertise, and passion for the Suzuki approach to a new generation of young musicians. When she's not at the piano, you'll likely find Erin with a cornet in hand — she's a keen and dedicated brass bander!
